Art made for a moment.
I spend my winters in Spain. This place gives me something that is often lost in everyday life in Switzerland: time.
Time to pause. To reflect. To listen.
It brings movement to my inner world. The light, the sea, the vastness – they open a space where something new can emerge. Sometimes these works of art exist only for a single moment.
With a rope, a broomstick and a large screwdriver, geometric forms appear in the sand - mandalas that grow out of the moment. Circles and lines inspired by the quiet order of nature. The mandala remains only for a moment. The wind carries it away, the sea takes it back.
What remains is the memory - and the joy of its creation.
The encounters with people who stop, watch and marvel at the interplay between nature and geometry. A moment that reminds me
how fleeting everything is and how precious.
Like a life fully lived.
